Each tablet contains two complementary analgesics: Paracetamol 500mg, which works by blocking the chemical messengers in the brain that signal pain, and Codeine Phosphate Hemihydrate 12.8mg, a mild opioid analgesic that acts on the central nervous system to reduce the perception of pain. Together, they provide stronger relief than paracetamol alone for conditions including headache, migraine, dental pain, period pain, backache, sciatica, strains, sprains and rheumatic or arthritic pain.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis medicine contains codeine and can cause addiction if taken for more than 3 days.
